Title: Tradition
Day/Theme: August 18th -- Spring letters and spring tears
Series: Prince of Tennis
Character/Pairing: Hinted Atobe/Tezuka
Rating: PG
Spring passes by in a blur of greens and pinks; the blooming or rather, awakening of nature. Kunimitsu accuses him of having too much an imagination. He retorts that you can never have too much of a good thing, lips curled up just ever so that hints at a hidden joke between them. The stoic teen never falls for it, instead lifts an even eyebrow and murmurs a low “…Keigo” that never fails to melt his insides. Not that he’ll never admit this of course, he has his own pride to think about.
But it doesn’t change the fact that Kunimitsu is handsome, stunningly so, with his soft brown hair and sharp hazel eyes, and he tries to get him to take a picture together under the blooming wisteria tree, you, me, beautiful tree, what more could be fabulous aahn? Kunimitsu resists, but eventually gives him, after all, who could resists ore-sama?
The developed photo finds it way to Atobe’s desk, given prime positioning, right next to the expensive antique table lamp where it’ll stay throughout the year, past summer and winter. Then next spring, he’ll drag the other teen out again, where they’ll have the same sort of argument, take another picture and continue the whole cycle.
